Bad Weekend... Today is a New Day!
This weekend started out ok, but because I had been hanging out with Jarod so much I ended up getting the super munchies for the past 3 days, so I guess I flubbed up that weekend. Oh well, this is a new week and I need to get back on the horse (The one that I wasn't riding for too long). I need to stop smokin the ganja! Maaan, it just screws up my entire state of mind and messes with my morals and values about food. Any kind of diet that I go on gets destroyed by the ganja. I really need to stop! Anyway, today started out great. Jarod and I slept in so I "skipped" breakfast and for lunch I had these: 1 Healthy Choice Chicken Meal: 340 Calories 1 Asian Pear: 98 Calories 10 Bing Cherries: 49 Calories 1 Cup of Light & Healthy Yogurt: 60 Calories Total: 547 Thats pretty good! I am completely satisfied too. I have found that starving yourself is the WORST WAY to try and lose weight. You need to eat, your body cannot function without nutrition. On days that I say "Fuck it, I'm just not going to eat" I end up fasting for a couple of days and then by day 3 I'm so hungry that I gorge myself with all the wrong foods! I had a personal trainer once and he said that you should only let yourself get a little bit hungry, you should never feel like you are STARVING and you should never feel like you are too full. Buffets are very bad if you want to lose weight! Unless its sweet tomatoes! So yea, another week goes buy, summer gets closer. I want to be able to fit into a bikini for spring break! I'm thinking that we might go to Lake Havasue for spring break. Both my boyfriend and I need to lose weight. Hes got a pudgy belly! Eh...
Todays Food Intake: 11:00 a.m.: 6'' Subway Turkey & Ham Sandwich with extra Meat on Wheat - Approx. Calories: 470, 40 g's Protein 1:00 p.m.: 2 low fat string cheese sticks: 140 2:00 p.m.: 1 bag of Baked Lays Chips: 140 3:00 p.m.: 1/2 Bar of Hershey's Chocolate Candy: 115 So far I have taken in 865 calories. Yikes, I think thats ok! I just feel a bit guilty because of the 1/2 bar of chocolate. Oh well, I guess its not that big of a screw up. I heard that chocolate is good for you sometimes anyways! MmmMmm  I was going to go the the gym with Stephanie and Amy, but I don't think that I can make it after work. I'm suppose to go to this dinner for Jarod's little cousin's birthday.. Good workout, good green beans
So I did'nt reach my goal to workout cardio for an hour and weights for half an hour... I skipped the weights =( I was just too tired after an hour of cardio and 500 calories later! I still concider it a pretty diecent workout! Also, I got really hungry when I got home so I munched on some green beans. No butter, no salt, just straight green baby. Oooh yeeeaaaah... Thats pretty good concidering that I usually cave in and eat ice cream or chips and salsa or taco bell! So now I am off to bed! Goodnight to me! <3 Brittany Current Mood: accomplished | | 8:57 pm |
Panini Time!
About 2 hours ago I had dinner with the pops. I ate a Lean Cusine Panini (They are sooo goooood!) which has about 300 calories, 8 g's of fat, 33 g's of carbs and 21 g's of protein. I also had some chicken and rice soup which is about 100 calories aswell as 3 crackers which may be about 75 calories. My total calorie intake for today is 1170. Hopefully I am on the right track!  This is an awesome protein drink. Not only is it very good for you, it tastes great! There is no fat, not a lot of sodium, no sugar, no aspartame, no carbs and packs 23 g's of protein per serving! Yay for protein! I just mixed a scoop with a bottle of water. Total Calories per Scoop: 90 Total Calories for the day: 695 Current Mood: content | | 1:49 pm |
Breasts... Good or Bad???
I have ALWAYS wanted breast implants, now that I finally have them, I have gained about 20 pounds! Yikes! I know, I know... It was like a downward spiral once I got out of surgery. First of all, I couldn't go to the gym for about 2 months after my surgery (Yea, but I could go out and party my ass off, go figure), during that 2 months my diet took a crash and burn affect. After these 2 months I decide that I need to get my ass back in shape so I hire a trainer. He great, I start to see a little difference then Thanksgiving hits... Ahhh, I wish the holidays were more spread apart because for the entire month of December I did nothing but eat crap and sit on my ass with my boyfriend (Who never works out or watches what he eats). So now I am a whopping 158 pounds. In May I was at 135 and even then I felt that I had to drop 20 pounds. So now my personal goal is to drop 40 Pounds by summer. Dieting sucks so I hope that this journal can somewhat help me out. Tonight my goal is to go to the gym and do 1 Hour of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training. I feel that if I can do that at least 5 times a week I will be in pretty good shape by summer! I am going to try to report to this blog every day. Hopefully it will keep me in line! Zabaz...Mmmmm...
Ok, so on my new diet I am very limited to what fast foods that I can eat for lunch. One thing that I can eat is a chicken Zaba Bowl from Zaba's. Once upon a time I actually really enjoyed these bowls, but now, since I am on a diet, they are not so great due to the fact that I cant have cheese, rice (My favorite!) or sour cream. LAME. Its ok though, its not THAT bad. Here are the nutririon facts that I actually pulled from Chipotlefan.com which I guess is the same as Zabas??
